Pizza Menu

Friday night is pizza night at the Mercantile.

Your pizza can be picked up or eaten in house between 3 pm and 8 pm. Most people choose call ahead to have their pizza freshly baked and waiting for them at a specific time. But if you prefer to take your pizza home unbaked, please request the special pizza container that allows you to bake your pizza in it . Try 400 degrees F. for 12 minutes plus or minus a few minutes. Even better, take it out of the container and bake it on a piping hot pizza stone, like we do in our kitchen.

Your pizza started life on Wednesday. First, the starter for the dough is prepared and gently rises overnight . The next day more ingredients are added and the dough rises again. The third day, Friday, the dough is portioned out for each 12 inch crust.

 Pesto, fresh tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, parmesan, tomato sauce $15.99

3) Calabrese

Soppressata (Italian Salami), Sicilian mixed olives, basil, bocconcini, ricotta, tomato sauce $16.99

4) Finocchiona

House made fennel sausage,  bocconcini,  red & green peppers, mozzarella,parmesan,tomato sauce $16.99

5) Fulford Harbour  Special

Red, orange & yellow peppers, mushrooms, zucchini,  soppressata (Italian salami), black olives, house made fennel sausage, parmesan, ricotta, mozzarella tomato sauce $18.99

6) Hawaiian

Ham, bacon, pineapple,   mozzarella, parmesan, tomato sauce $16.99

7) Italiana Vegetariana

Artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, spinach, fresh tomatoes, Sicilian olives, spinach, bocconcini, parmesan, mozzarella, tomato sauce $17.99

 8) Meatlovers

Bacon, ham, house made fennel sausage, pepperoni, sliced black olives,  mozzarella, parmesan, tomato sauce  $18.99

9) Roasted Garlic

Roasted garlic, sliced black olives, mushrooms, spinach,  mozzarella, parmesan, tomato sauce $16.99

10) Wild Card
